1468 VICTORIAN MOURNING BAKELITE CAMEO HAIR WOVEN NECKLACE
The amount of braided hair that was needed for this necklace is staggering to my mind! Through a 30x loupe, you can see the hair braided tightly and then knotted after each wood bead was added. Quite remarkable. The hair looks to have been dyed to match the dyed wood beads. As for the bakelite (tested) cameo, her face is quite beautiful, high relief carved. The necklace measures over 30 inches long, and the pendant measures 2 inches long.

2426 ART NOUVEAU C-CLASP SWEETHEART WINGS ABALONE CARVED BROOCH

1727 Victorian Cut Steel Brass Belt Buckle
Turn of the century or earlier, this phenomenal & well preserved brass buckle has cut steel decorative motifs on each corner as well as the center. Some steel beads missing on the center designs. All the various shaped steel beads look to be present on each corner. Measures 3.75 inches long.

$25

2592 CARVED QUARTZ JADE (CHILD'S?) BELT BUCKLE
From an estate (3 floors chock full) of the most wonderful Victorian era clothes & fabrics I've ever seen in one place, this buckle looks to be made for a child perhaps. The center looks to be carved from pink quartz but no matter what the stone is, it's very delicate. There are some stress fractures on it, but they do not look to go through the stone.  There's a pink cast to the outer perimeter where the metal shows through., maybe from the metal, not sure. On each side is jade, but as to its quality I am uncertain. Delicate filigree work with bezel settings gives this buckle a depth of slightly over 1/4". Notice the twisted metal design around each of the stones! Remarkably well preserved for its age. Please, if you want more close-ups to this piece, I am more than happy to email them. Measures 2.5  inches long.

$65

2315 VICTORIAN FACETED FRENCH JET GLASS  & TEAR DROP GLASS BEAD STRUNG WITH HAIR
Very unusual tear drop glass beads & beautiful faceted French (glass) jet beads wired with braided human hair. Most remarkable! The braided hair is tied with black ribbon. One side of the black ribbon broke off. Measures 15  inches long from the end bead to the end bead (ribbon was not included in measurement).

2629-1 REAL BEETLE SCARAB BRASS PENDANT & CHAIN

Images from "Indiana Jones" or maybe more like "The Mummy", are conjured up with the likes of this ancient beetle scarab chain.  Found as is, this real scarab is prong set with a brass base & attached link chain. It measures slightly over 1/2 inch. Excellent condition.  I think the back is more beautiful than the front
.

This is the largest rock crystal pendant necklace I've ever come across. It has a decorative sterling encasement around it. The rock crystal beads are ornately faceted. Beautiful old world linked chain. The chain measures approximately 36 inches. The drop is about 2 inches long. The rock crystal measures 3/4". Excellent  condition throughout.

3056 OPALESCENT JELLY OPAL  GLASS VICTORIAN BROOCH

Gorgeous, opalescent glass rounds with a large center cabochon. The beauty of these glass stones just make my heart skip a beat. There is a small v-shaped crevice in the base brass metal as you can see in the back. This lovely handmade piece is a real treasure.

SOLD

2752 EARLY 1900s MOONSTONE LINK NECKLACE

In Victorian times, the moonstone (a type of feldspar) was believed to have powers to protect travelers on dark nights. Shimmering bluish moonstones en cabochon all hand pronged onto an unusual link setting. Each link is individually soldered for greater strength. The fine link chain at the top may have been added later.  Each moonstone is in excellent condition. The oval center drop is slightly off-set  as seen in the close-up. It measures 16 inches from end to end. The chain is gold-filled. The push-in clasp is very tight. I took this to my jeweler for moonstone verification.

$145

3081 VICTORIAN PURPLE AMETHYST GLASS 5.25" ARROW PIN

Ornately designed Victorian pin that is made of dark purple amethyst glass. One of the carved diamonds is missing on the top, otherwise I would consider this in excellent antique condition. It measures 5.25 inches long.

$1750

4147 MIRACLE SURVIVOR PLIQUE-A-JOUR BRASS REPOUSSE PENDANT FOR NECKLACE

She's my miracle survivor! I love Victorian pieces & this Edwardian era plique-a-jour pendant was rescued from a bowl full of charms & various metal items. It's a miracle it only has one tiny pinhead hole on the lower left of the photo (view the second close-up). Otherwise, this is in excellent antique condition. It's breath-taking even if it only measures about 1.25 inches long.  I really feel blessed to have found this wonderful, romantic piece in such remarkable condition. I didn't really appreciate it in its entirety until I put it up to the light.

SOLD

4146 EARLY 1900s KING EDWARD VII BAKELITE MATCH SAFE

This is in most excellent antique condition. Both ends open tightly. No scratches or gouges found anywhere on this piece. Very detailed carving of King Edward's profile with his medals, as well as a crown above. The detailing on all sides is exquisite. It measures 3 inches long.
