2475 DEPOSE' FRANCE GALALITH & BRASS SEAHORSE NECKLACE SET

Well made brass necklace signed Made In France & Depose'. Herringbone chain is in very good condition, some wear in places. The seahorses are drilled into a type of plastic. Ginger Moro emailed me on this particular piece & said it is more than likely Galalith, as it was the "European casein plastic of choice in the 20th century." I now have her book & it is chock full of wonderful information on European designers. Highly recommended. Necklace is about 15 inches long & the earrings 3/4" long.

4147 MIRACLE SURVIVOR PLIQUE-A-JOUR BRASS REPOUSSE PENDANT FOR NECKLACE

She's my miracle survivor! I love Victorian pieces & this Edwardian era plique-a-jour pendant was rescued from a bowl full of charms & various metal items. It's a miracle it only has one tiny pinhead hole on the lower left of the photo (view the second close-up). Otherwise, this is in excellent antique condition. It's breath-taking even if it only measures about 1.25 inches long. I really feel blessed to have found this wonderful, romantic piece in such remarkable condition. I didn't really appreciate it in its entirety until I put it up to the light.

2769 Marked GERMANY 1940S Decorative Art Glass Drop Necklace

A most unusual design, this necklace has a wire on top that was sewn onto the gilt metal backing. All the unusual art glass beads are either sewn or wired onto the backing. It's very unique! Measures approximately 17 inches from end to end. I would approximate its age around 1940s.

4167 GORGEOUS ENAMEL GLASS ART BRACELET

I love perusing Cathy Gordon's website as her collections are fabulous & so informative! When I discovered this piece, the first thing I thought was BAZOT! because of the pieces I remember viewing on her site. She has a bracelet very similar in design components (the jump rings as well as the clasp), but this has a sticker on the back & the only letter identifiable is B. UPDATE: Per Ginger Moro, this is not an Andree Bazot creation as she typically signed all of her pieces. The workmanship is definitely here! It's so unique & so WILD!! I see no chips or cracks on the glass cabochons. The center navette glass stone is multi-faceted. Whoever designed it was definitely thinking outside the box & it's not for the timid nor shy! The foiled back enameling has bright greens with copper accents & light blue hues. . . The center measures over 3 inches wide. The length is 6.35". I suspect the original owner had taken one of the jump rings off for a more secure fit.

1880 MARKED GERMANY WATERMELON GLASS FILIGREE BUTTERFLY PIN

This is an absolutely remarkable vintage butterfly brooch. . ..the workmanship and design, the quality of stones is really outstanding. It is only marked on the pin MADE IN GERMANY. The watermelon ab stones are in excellent condition, as well as the apple green stones. The filigree work on each wing is really exquisite. . .. has a wing span of almost 2 1/2 inches. I would consider this in very good vintage condition.
